On a mission to create a drug-free society, Ek Ardass Seva Society recently organized a Drug Addiction Awareness Campaign at Lajwanti Stadium, Hoshiarpur. The campaign aimed to educate young minds about the dangers of drug use and inspire them to lead healthier, purpose-driven lives.
A Strong Turnout from Youth, Coaches, and Players
The campaign saw participation from a large number of children, including athletes and their coaches, who gathered to learn and engage in meaningful discussions about the harmful effects of drug abuse. These young participants are the future of our nation, and empowering them with the right knowledge is a step in the right direction.
Distinguished Guests Graced the Occasion
We were honored by the presence of Ms. Aashika Jain, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur, who attended the campaign as the Chief Guest. Her support and encouragement added great value to the event and inspired the attendees to stay committed to a drug-free life.
The campaign also welcomed Ms. Oishi Mandal, Assistant Deputy Commissioner, whose presence was deeply appreciated.
Our keynote speaker, Karanveer Singh Bassi—a well-known Kathavachak and motivational speaker—delivered a powerful and thought-provoking message. He emphasized the importance of saying "No" to drugs and choosing the path of discipline, spirituality, and self-respect. His words deeply resonated with the audience, especially the youth, who listened with rapt attention.
A Gesture of Compassion: Supporting a Promising Young Athlete
During the event, a heartfelt story came to light. Yogi Sir, a respected figure in the community, brought to our attention the situation of a talented young Kick Boxer who is preparing for a national tournament in July. This boy recently lost his father, a daily wage laborer, due to health issues, and his mother is also battling serious health problems.
Moved by the child’s determination and potential, Ek Ardass Seva Society extended a helping hand. To support him in his journey, our organization presented him with a cheque of ₹10,000 to cover his financial needs for the upcoming tournament. This small act of kindness is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to uplift and empower those in need.
Our Mission Continues
This campaign was not just an event—it was a movement. A movement to raise awareness, to spread light, and to build a society free from the darkness of drug addiction. With continued efforts, community support, and government collaboration, Ek Ardass Seva Society will remain committed to guiding the youth, supporting the underprivileged, and creating positive change.
Together, Let's Say NO to Drugs and YES to Life!
