Ek Ardaas Seva Society recently organized a Drug Addiction Awareness Campaign at a local school, aiming to educate students about the dangers of substance abuse and to encourage a drug-free lifestyle among youth.
We were honored to welcome the Mayor of Ludhiana, Principal Inderjeet Kaur, as the Chief Guest for the event. Her presence added immense value and inspiration to the cause.
Keynote speakers for the campaign included S. Parmpal Singh Sabrah, a respected social activist, and Dr. Pushpinder Singh, a renowned expert in addiction awareness and mental health. Both speakers delivered impactful messages, shedding light on the physical, emotional, and social consequences of drug use and the importance of early prevention.
The highlight of the event was the engaging skits performed by students, creatively portraying real-life scenarios involving peer pressure, drug abuse, and the path to recovery. Their performances were not only thought-provoking but also deeply moving, reflecting the awareness and sensitivity of the younger generation toward this critical issue.
At the conclusion of the campaign, honors and tokens of appreciation were presented to the distinguished guests, including the Mayor and both speakers, for their valuable contributions to this meaningful initiative.
Following the program, a free langar (community meal) was organized for all students and their parents, promoting the values of unity, service, and togetherness. This gesture symbolized the spirit of Seva (selfless service), which lies at the heart of Ek Ardaas Seva Society’s mission.
This campaign was part of Ek Ardaas Seva Society’s ongoing efforts to create awareness, support healthy communities, and empower youth with knowledge and positive choices. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, supporters, and school staff for making this event a great success.
Together, let’s say NO to drugs and YES to life.
