Drug De-Addiction Awareness Program Organized by Ek Ardass Seva Society at Neshta Attari – MKD DAV School

Ek Ardass Seva Society successfully conducted a Drug De-Addiction Awareness Program at MKD DAV School, Neshta Attari, aiming to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and inspire them to choose a healthy, purposeful lifestyle. The event received an enthusiastic response from both students and the school faculty.

The session featured two inspiring speakers — Shri Karanveer Singh Bassi, a renowned motivational speaker and storyteller, and Smt. Divya Ji, who both delivered powerful talks on the alarming impact of drug addiction among youth. Their speeches highlighted the physical, mental, emotional, and social consequences of substance abuse. They explained how addiction harms not only the individual but also disrupts the peace and stability of an entire family.

As part of the awareness program, a special educational video was shown to the students. The video demonstrated real-life examples and explained in simple words how drug addiction begins, how it affects the brain and body, and how it destroys relationships and future opportunities. The students listened with great attentiveness and participated actively during the interaction.

Following the session, Dr. Gurbinder Singh Bhatti, the respected Principal of MKD DAV School, addressed the gathering. His speech emphasized the importance of discipline, self-awareness, and strong moral values in protecting oneself from negative influences. He appreciated the initiative taken by Ek Ardass Seva Society and encouraged students to stay focused on education and personal growth.

To honor the school’s valuable support, Ek Ardass Seva Society presented a token of appreciation to Principal Dr. Gurbinder Singh Bhatti. The students were also provided with refreshments as a gesture of goodwill and encouragement.

This program reflects Ek Ardass Seva Society’s firm commitment to building a drug-free, healthy, and aware future generation. We continue to work towards protecting children from harmful habits and guiding them toward a brighter, more responsible future.
